XD. Arwa is the best Aserai wife. There are many good wives though. There are many good AI nobles both male and female. Its really hard to say which is the best. Some really good ones arent even of age to get married when you start the game and dont appear until some years later.

Khergits are the best faction if you are playing horse archer. The Rhodoks have the best anti-cavalry unit and are pretty decent in close combat. IMO they are slow, and are not meant for beserker-type assault the Nords are good at doing. But a line of Rhodok spearmen is a deadly trap against any frontal cavalry charge. The infantry of the other kingdoms range from poor to decent. Defending sieges is unlimited ammo so a group of marksmen can really destroy an attacking army if well positioned and shielded. I use both when besieging and make a crossbow group. Sharpshooters can shield in front while Marksmen unload then join in later. Marksman are pretty much only better in defending sieges. Bamsmacked Apr 8, 2020 @ 10:45am. If your going to play as a bandit only raid 1-2 factions tops.. I started this recently and I'm been raiding the strongest kingdoms, to make the game interesting. Once my clan is strong enough and I have enough parties I'll start capturing fiefs from powerful snowballing Kingdoms. #4.

With just 100, I've taken 1200. I'm not bsing either. They are the absolute best calvary, but they can also hold a fight on foot. Having said that, I think Rhodoks make the best crossbowmen, Vaegirs make the best archers, Nords make the best infantry (the Hurshels are dragon slayers), and Swadians make the best calvary.

Swadi knight Rhodok sharp shooters Vaegir marksmen and Nord huscarl. Only one unit in my army it is Swadi knight for sure, except sieges. Heavy Calvary go to the Sarrinid mamlukes and the Swadian Knights. Archers go to the Vaegir Marksmen. Nord Huscarls are great for sieges.
