Medi 2 is a classic. Once again, if you became comfortable with the new systems it’ll feel a bit off for a few turns. Definitely worth 5$ though. It also gives you an appreciation for the evolution of this title. Makes Attila battles seem smooth for example. kakihara0513 • 4 yr. ago.
Yes, be sure to also pick up the Kingdoms expansion. It offers four small and fun campaigns and almost all mods (Med II's real strength) require it. I built my first Pc a few months ago and medieval 2 was the first total war game I picked up. I had never played the game before so I had no nostalgia to base it off of. Divide and Conquer is the biggest Third Age: Total War submod of all time. It contains many new factions, units, scripts, 2D artwork, campaign strategy models, battlemaps and more! DaC has been an ongoing project for 10 years now. Faction List: Shadow of Mordor. Remnants of Angmar. Shadow of Mirkwood.
MEDIEVAL II brings Total War’s compelling mix of massive real-time battles and intricate turn-based strategy to iPhone and iPad. Set across three continents during the turbulent Middle Ages, spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals line the path to power as the great kingdoms of the medieval world vie for supremacy.
Offcourse it's worth it. If you feel like the 20€ isn't worth it, wait for a sale on humble bundle or on steam or maybe even retail. It's not uncommon to get this game + dlc for around 5€ during a sale or retail. This game is still great, one of the best if not the best Total War game. Um that's Total War Rome II Egypt. This is about Total War Medieval 2 Egypt. It's the right faction, but wrong game. #1. Woody Jul 31, 2014 @ 3:36pm. The Cathlic factions are hard to keep good relations with as a Muslim faction. Even with good relations once a crusade is called there is a good chance any christian allies you had will turn Markets (Medieval II: Total War) Edit. Markets are buildings in Medieval II: Total War. A markets greatly increase trade in town or city. In town or cities with Grain Exchange or above you can recruit limited number of Merchants (one building of market any level allows recruiting 1 Merchant).
England: Opening Moves Guide. By Gaius Colinius. Part of the Bayeux Tapestry. England has an enviable starting position in that it can very easily have 7 secure & safe provinces very early in the game with a “beachhead” province in Caen. Common sense alone dictates that eradicating the Scots is the key to the opening moves.
100% worth the experience. Before you play anything modded, play a completely vanilla campaign in short to medium length, just to get the feel and quirks of the authentic experience. From there on, you can get the feel on a few janky mechanics/bugs that plagued the original Medieval 2.
Also, this is very important in my style of play, make sure you sack every city, to get a huge cash boost, even if that settlement starts to riot it would have been worth it, because the money you get is usually quite a lot. in your first 20 turns or so what you build in your cities matters a lot, so i take this path farms-> markets -> merchant
It is worth noting that Total War: Medieval II also received a Kingdoms expansion back in 2007. It is likely this will be released as an in app purchase later on. It is likely this will be

Walls (Medieval II: Total War) Walls are buildings in Medieval II: Total War. A wall is essential to defenses of town or city. It also enables building of towers and without building wall, town or city cannot be improved to next level. Wall are are also important, when it comes to free upkeep garrison units number, but only units recruited in

Medieval, Rome, and Medieval 2 are the only Total War games you should be looking at. The graphics are dated but their experience is timeless. Later TW's the AI cheats. Technically, they cheat in all of them, but in Rome 2 it was made more blatantly obvious.
Neithan May 13, 2016 @ 4:31pm. There is basically two kinds of siege equipment. One is build in the field (ram, ladder, siege tower), and can only be build with build points once you started the siege, thus need at least one extra turn. The other type is the artillery you can build at the siege works (ballista, catapult, trebuchet, all kinds of xrmS.
